So, I thought I'd appease Dad two ways: Not only posting a picture but posting another one of his grand dog Ruby. Auntie Amy took this on a visit to Carson City last year.

Comments:
Hey Brien, What's up? why haven't shrunk this one? On strike?

No, just slammed at work ;-).

Ha - what's Ruby eating? It almost looks like a price tag. Is she trying to hide the evidence of an excursion to PetCo with Daddy's credit card?

I'm back from Hong Kong and cracking the whip again with Brien. Apparently he did nothing but work and eat EasyMac while I was away (and let his cold get worse and worse). Looks like there was a last minute scramble to do some laundry before I got back. Unfortunately, only one load made it into the washer and that was about it.
Now he's collapsed in bed with the flu! Hope I didn't transmit any nasty "American" bugs to the Chinese - but (knock on wood) I haven't gotten whatever Brien has yet - and hopefully I didn't bring anything worse back from HK.

Spent a week in HK on business, setting up what's called an IRCA meeting...that's International Risk Control Advisors. It went well and I managed to squeeze one day of shopping in at the very end.

Look forward to catching up soon, K&B (he'll be well by then)

It's a leaf she brought in from the yard. Always devious. She thrives on getting in trouble. . .

Risk control sounds like my field. Details?

Unfortunately, I know nothing about Risk Control - I only had to make sure our advisors got their food and drink! Actually, they hung out and spoke about the looming threat of phishing, fraud programs, referrals and other technical things I don't really understand...

My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that. If you'd like to contribute, send me a note.
