Welcome home! Katie and Jason...enjoy every tiny and precious moment, because she will look big in that crib much sooner than you want. She is just beautiful. Can't wait to meet her. How are you feeling, Katie? A C section is major surgery!
 

Feeling pretty good right now. Had some complications with mastitis (lovely, I know), but finally feeling much better from that. C-section area still kinda sore, but also feeling much better. First weigh-in since leaving the hospital is on MOnday. Will keep you posted.
 

hey kate and jason. Madeline looks so cute!!! I miss staring at her. I have the pictures of her under the sun lamps as my wallpaper of my cell phone. people must think i'm crazy. i love you guys! can't wait to see her again.
 

What a beauty! Such regular features, actually looks like a little adult.

The picture of Ruby reminds us that booboo2 did the same thing when Brien was born. Booboo waited and waited for the new puppy to come out and play. One day he even threw a bone into the crib and waited all day for a reaction. No luck until several months later when all Brien wanted was to pull his hair. Later, of course, they became inseparable. Boo boo even went down the slides at the local park with Brien. Booboo became very unpopular at the park because after he and Brien got to the bottom of the slide, booboo would wait there and then bite each kid who came down after them. Didn't hurt them but sure scared 'em.

That we remember and treasure such events means that you guys have the best years of your lives immediately ahead. We know you will treasure them as much as we did.

you are healing quickly, then. that is wonderful. my friend was over with her son (now 16 months). she wanted to see photos and agreed that Madeline is just gorgeous. her son jonah was 2 months premature and was 4 lbs at birth, too.
