Madeline has done well: she tipped the scales at 4# 11oz today (was 4# 3.5oz last thurs)! What a little eater! Here's her first meeting with her great grandma Terry. So cute. We had our first dinner out with Maddie tonight. I guess the one good thing from being awake at nights is that she sleeps great when we're eating. . .

Grandma Terry looks wonderful and you all look so relaxed! How is everyone doing? Tired but enamored? :)

Glad to hear she's doing so well!

Very impressive weight gain. My calculatons show that at this rate she will weigh 34.2 lbs when she is one year old. Thats about 12 lbs more than Izzy weighed at one year. Look out Izzy and Kerri Anne!

By the way, I had never heard of the Hokies before and was stunned to notice in the paper that they are the 4th or 5th best football team in the nation. How about that! Hope they beat USC in the Rosebowl.

Sleep, who needs sleep? Yes, very tired, but the frequent trips from G-ma Caulfield have helped with the overnighters.
As for the Hokies, not many West coast folks hear of them much, but they've been near the top for quite some time now. My first year in vet school, they went to the national championship game when Michael Vick was playing. Unfortunately, they lost their rosebowl shot by losing to Miami two weeks ago. We'll just have to cheer for Texas to beat 'em. Go Hokies!

Yeah Caulfield family! Congrats to Uncle Andy on the bar exam, and high-fives to Maddie for puttin' on the l-b's...well o-z's for now, but woo hoo! The pic of GGma is precious. Love to you all!..Karen von B.

Good one Karen: Maddie's puttin' on the oz's!

So glad the next generation got to meet Great Gramma Terry. Shelooks very enamored with miss Maddie. Know she is very pleased with the newest addition and nobody can tell her more about the world than Gramma T. Love her too! Mary Jane

My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that.
