The great class size debate of March 2006 (AKA Aging Memories) roars (whimpers?) on. Attached is a class picture from my second grade class at St. Rose's school in Santa Rosa, shot in the convent yard adjacent to the school. I was wrong, there weren't 50 kids, there were 49 (someone must have been sick that day, I can't possibly be WRONG). In my 4th grade class picture there were 48 and in my 7th grade class picture there were 52.
When counting number of kids it surprised me how many names I could remember. Hell, I have trouble remembering my name when I get up in the morning now!
