Boy, how things have changed since we were kids. Sometime when I can dig it out I'll post a picture of my second grade class when I was at St. Rose's. 50 kids in the class. I had to count the ones in Any's class, 15! Maybe they get a better education that way... ya think?
Looks like Amy is in a great job. And boy, I wouldn't want to be the kid that is acting out in that third picture, she looks like she is about to get tough.
Actually 14 kids. I think there were "only" 40 in our classes at St Rose. We did okay, but it seems that these kids are doing outstanding in this smaller situation. Who knows. What you think Amy? ps. Nice post Darcy!
OOps. Wrong again. My wife kindly pointed out that her class, one ahead of Tim, had 52. I immediately challenged her memory, and since my last post she has produced a photo of her 2nd grade class with 52 kids and her 4th grade class with 48. Sigh
Love the pics, Amy! Fun to see you on here for a change.
As for the blackboard, I bought tall and smart. Once I saw muscular, it was on a downhill slide. Patient blew the whole thing out the window! Sorry, Dad, but we all know that word's not even in your vocabulary. Also, when are you ever going to learn to believe Mom? After 38 years, I would think you would have gotten a clue.
Yeah, I did notice the black board, and my first thought was to wonder how much you paid them, then I realized that they were just a bunch of nice kids humoring "Miss Caulfield's" father.
Really, I think it is great that you spend time helping out Amy and the kids, and at least half of what is on the blackboard must be true.
i really do look mean in that third one. i guess all the practice is paying off. thanks for all the fun comments. i am definitely having a blast with this group. they're fantastic. they love when dad visits and tells stories.
My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that.
