Kudos to John sr. and Christie for spending a week in Mexico helping to build an orphanage for truly deserving people. Christie really worked , cooking for 22 hungry volunteers; breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't figure out how to cook for one, since gaining a granddaughter has resulted in my losing a wife.
If John ever figures out how to use his new cellphone, maybe we can see some pics. I understand he gave it to a kid there who figured out how to take pics , but John can't figure out how to find them. No criticism of John, since Brien couldn't figure it out either......no, wait, he's well over 30 too.
Judy and I enjoyed brunch with Tom and Annie, John and Rosalie. Tim, and Brien at the Ryde hotel in the delta. Nice.

Sorry, got stuck on "figure"

And you were the one always whining about not having a grandkid yet. . .

Wish I had known about the brunch! Maybe we could have joined you! Mike says Tom and Annie mentioned it last night...I didn't know...we could have changed our plans!

John and Christie...I am in awe and impressed. You are amazing!

what do you mean, Christie REALLY worked...you sound surprised? Rich, Rich, Rich - you should know Christie better than that! I guess it's a good thing you didn't go to Mexico as cook, since as you point out, nobody (including yourself) would have eaten:)

Seriously, though - sounds like an awesome adventure, Christie and Uncle John. Really puts things in perspective I'm sure. Good going...
