Brien, for some reason photos that are just too cute won't post. I've tried this one several times, and others in same batch post, but this one won't. Any ideas?

Comments:
Rich, I am not Brien, but I have found that if I have altered the photo in any way prior to posting, the photo will not attach and post to the blog. This was especially true if I tried rotating photos. When I figured that out, I tried to post each photo no matter which way it faced or what it looked like and since then, they have all posted perfectly, all facing the appropriate direction. Could that be part of your trouble?

I have found that if the path is too long then it won't post. Copy it to your desk top and try posting from there.

What's a path?

she looks ADORABLE in her little yellow sundress! (at least if you click on it you can see the pic), Katie's friend, Becky

The path is the file name (e.g., http://brother/sacramento/daughter_in_NV/Granddaughter-001.jepg). I have found that if it gets too long the picture won't post. In that situation if I copy the file onto the desktop the the name is dramatically shortened, and it posts. Usually a name gets too long because of nested folders (i.e., folders within folders within folders (please don't ask what a folder is)).

Then again, it could be pure coincidence and moving the picture to the desktop does something else that I don't understand and it has nothing to do with the path. But thinking that it is that path, and that I understand it, helps me get through the day.

It is really a cute picture. Thanks to Becky for the comment on clicking on the x'ed box. She is really cute in the yellow dress.

that IS a cute photo of maddie! interesting, because when i have had the same thing happen and tried clicking on the blank box, nothing has shown up for me. YOU get a cute baby when you click your blank box!

i found my new computer wallpaper. :)

I agree with Tim, I've found putting it on my computer desktop first helps.

What's a folder?

Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that.
