Spring is a time of wide variation in weather in Vermont. These two pictures of the front of our house are two weeks apart. When I last left for a trip to California there was no snow, I came back and there was a foot of snow, a week later there was no snow, then we had the Nor'Easter you heard about and we had another foot and a half of snow. Four days ago we had 81 degrees during the day and last night we had 35 degrees. The poor birds can't figure out what is happening.

But it is all leading in exorably toward spring and lots of green, mosquitos and black flies. Goodie.

Seriously, we are looking forward to the summer and enjoy the seasonal changes.

Tim,
Can't figure out where that is. Your front entrance?
Francine and Francis's daughter, Carole , her husband Bertrand, and 2 kids are moving to the DC area. this summer. So we expect to try to meet F&F on the east coast this next year sometime. I'd like to also visit Randolph again, and see the changes you've made.
When'll you guys be out here again?
Rich

Yay! weather! Sounds like you guys have had quite the weather changes! It looks like it is finally going to be spring here in Cameron Park. I'm going up to Carson City in the morning. We'll see how "spring" it is up there.

My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that.
