IT'S A BOY!!!
Nicola and Mike had a bouncing baby boy yesterday. 7 lbs 13 oz and twenty something inches long. He is temporarily called Hawkeye (their generic pre-birth moniker) until they think of a better name. Mom, dad and sister are all doing well. Hawkeye will have to have a hernia repaired sometime soon, but otherwise is in good shape. ¶ 12/06/2007 11:00:00 AM

yay - thanks Tim! Looks like the news embargo has been lifted, thank goodness. Apparently, the little guy arrived yesterday afternoon (Dec 5), just in time to add to the Caulfield December Birthday line-up! Grannie Annie visited and says he has a full head of dark hair and looks like his Grandpa Carlo.
Fantastic. Finally a Caulfield boy. Congrats to you all. Grandpa Carlo needs to post some pics of his look-alike grandson.

Kate is scheduled to give us our second granddaughter on February 6th. She is developing well and we expect will be full term. Maddie is getting used to her big girl room.
