VT Update: The siding is now all on, and the contractor is literally days from leaving for good. Just some finish work in the main floor bath and the year and a half remodel (while we lived there) will be done. The white boards will be painted in the spring (you cannot paint with water based paint when the temperature is below 40 degrees F, and it is well below that now, like 12 degrees as I write this, and heading down) to make it all one color.

The wood stove is working great so we are ready for a cozy winter.

great work - I actually like the white boards with the snow - adds a stylish winter trim. Once mud season hits, though, they'll look out of place:) Enjoy that wood stove!
