  Caulfields... with guns!

Check out Caulfield Investigations. And you thought this Web site was well designed.

This is the online virtual office of Caulfield Investigations. We are a Licensed Detective Agency in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.... We know that if you feel you are in need of our services, then you have taken the first step towards regaining control of the events that brought you here. Our team of investigators have the training and real world experience. We will work diligently to restore the sense of security
and safety that you and your family deserve... We take great pride in the fact that most of our best clients... are other private investigators. Thank you. The private investigators hired by other private investigators. STAY SAFE!

Wait, it gets better. Much better. Turns out the duo pictured above are not real Caulfields (that's probably why they're allowed to carry guns). Instead Max Caulfield had his name changed to protect his identity when he entered the federal witness protection program to escape the Chicago mob (what wiseass FBI agent named him Caulfield anyhow?).

Let's hope the Chicago mob doesn't see Max Caulfield's Web site, or the cover story in the local paper linked to above, or... this Web site.

Spyware: What It Is and How to Get Rid of It
Forgive the off-topic post, but most folks have 'spyware' on their computers. In fact, every time I use a PC at my in-laws I find their computers are so crammed with it they can hardly function. There's a good chance your machine has this problem too. Here's a great explanation of what Spyware is and how to get rid of it from the Wall Street Journal's Walt Mossberg.

  Baby Pool
Baby Pool! Those involved are into privacy, so I won't say much here. But if you know who, and you know what and you want in then email me. You know where -- Brian

Hey Brien, What happened to that cute pic of you and your bride?
My Judy wants to post something but doesn't want to do under my name. How does she do that? We both access the web thru internet explorer. Are you shrinking these? If so, I can preshrink, but the one of Tom and Penny was shrunk by me to about 35% and it sucks. Suggestions?

Here's a pic of the administrator of this site at the reception. If you like this pic. wait til you see the next one. If there is technical difficulty on this site in the near future, it is censorship, pure and simple

Brien finally achieved his dream of owning a ukulele! He won it in an auction last weekend at the 15th annual UCSC Alumni Vintners' Wine Tasting: http://alumni.ucsc.edu/events/wine/WT_04/index.htm

He gets a free lesson too, from the Santa Cruz Ukalady Michelle Kiba!

My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that. If you'd like to contribute, send me a note.
