Boy, were we all wrong! Our little porker clocked in at 5 and 1/2 pounds today! I think she was jealous after seeing her new friend Emily's chubby cheeks. . . :) Now we're free from dr. visits until after the first of the year: 2 month-old-shot time.

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving!
We missed everyone and the huge gathering Judy and Rich generously hosted the last several years, but we had a wonderful celebration with family and delicious food! We are counting our many blessings!
(Here is one of the little Caulfield blessings playing poker, singing karaoke, eating her first T-day dinner, and just looking darn cute!)

Well, I hate to put a new post up after the ones dad put up last. I just love those pictures. Here's our little Madeline enjoying one of her favorite nap positions, flashing her gang signs. She also had her first play date with Emily Phillips yesterday, while their dads watched football. Maddie's next weight check is tomorrow. Any guesses? I'm thinking 5# 3oz.

Madeline has done well: she tipped the scales at 4# 11oz today (was 4# 3.5oz last thurs)! What a little eater! Here's her first meeting with her great grandma Terry. So cute. We had our first dinner out with Maddie tonight. I guess the one good thing from being awake at nights is that she sleeps great when we're eating. . .

Here are the 4 pics Dad tried uploading the other day that didn't come through. As you can see, Ruby is completely fascinated by the noisy little thing that has taken over the household! Note that in her crib picture, the midline of the crib is visible above her feet. I think it will be awhile before she grows out of that one! Love to everyone. Katie, Jason, and Madeline

Madeline and I got to come home from the hospital yesterday. It's so great to be home! She loved her first shampooing at the hospital (didn't really like the rest of the bath though). She snoozed on the car ride home, all snuggled in the blanket her great grandma Terry knitted for her.
