Here's Maddie with Ruby, her number one fan. Also, a cute pic with Auntie Darcy.
Isabella Sofia on Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas, Caulfields!

OK everyone (well some of you, anyway), it is time to get out the magnifying glass and see where you came from. Attached is a genealogy chart that I did about 8 years ago. I apologize that some of the entries for the current generation are out of date, but the program is no longer operable on this computer so I cannot change it. But I wanted to pass it on to whoever was interested. If you click on the picture it should blow up to readable size. If it still isn't readable, and you are interested in having an electronic copy (JPEG), I will forward it and you can blow it up as large as you want.

Since Maddie Rose is one of the two most popular poster girls on this website, I thought I would post a recently uncovered photo of her namesake and grandmother. Tina was digging through some stuff, found this, and sent it to me (thanks Tina!). I don't know whether the rest of the family has seen it or not, so I thought I would post it for everyone to enjoy. The inscription said "Madeleine Mary Joyner about 192?". The most surprising thing about it was that I didn't realize that she spelled Madeleine with an "ei". Just to be sure that I was reading the writing correctly I went to my birth certificate, and it is correct. (Maybe everyone else knew this all the time, and old spelling challenged Tim has to wait 'til he is 57 to figure it out.)
Of course the main reason I didn't know was that the whole time I was growing up, she referred to herself as "Sue". The only ones that called her Maddie when I was around were Aunt Katie and Uncle Sam. Lore has it that the moniker Sue came from her performance as "Sue" in a college play, and she kept it.

To the left is our chandalier.
It was born 2 weeks ago today.
It has not yet gained any weight, however experts assure us that this is perfectly normal.

P.S. For the life of us, we can't get it to take a bottle.

Her's Maddie, kicking back. I think she's getting ready to be a beach babe someday. . . She also had her first visit from MY babysitter and good friend Teresa. Very fun!

Well, Winter has arrived in Vermont, and the east coast contingent of the Caulfield clan is trying to adjust... Actually enjoying it alot. We went snow shoeing for the first time yesterday, and got some great views of central Vermont from a massive peak 2,500 feet high.
Linda claims that I am a bit unclear on the concept of snow removal, and that there are faster ways. She even took pictures to show how unclear I am.
Actually, in my own defence, I was really on my way back from sweeping the snow off of our internet satelite dish, so that we could communicate with you good folks.

All the baby pictures are great, keep 'em coming so that we can keep up to date on the changes as they grow.
Andy's cute too, but more appropriately congratulations certainly are in order. CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!!!

Andy is officially a lawyer! Here's him being sworn in. We are so proud of him.
Lawyer jokes anyone? He's also now fair game.
My bar # is 50258. Guess what his is? No fair checking the State Bar website.

Rosalie emailed me some gorgeous photos of Christie and Kerri Ann today! Christie, you look just beautiful and Kerri Ann is soooo cute! Definitely one of Jill's offspring!

A snow walk in Tahoe last weekend...
