As Rich mentioned Tom and Annie, John and Rosalie, Rich and Judy, and Tim and Brian (I am not actually married to Brian) got together at the Ryde Hotel in the Sacramento delta for brunch on Sunday. These are some low definition pictures that I took with my telephone. Besides showing that we all know how to say "cheese", we all had a good time visiting and riding through the delta region, which is absolutely gorgeous this time of year.
Kudos to John sr. and Christie for spending a week in Mexico helping to build an orphanage for truly deserving people. Christie really worked , cooking for 22 hungry volunteers; breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't figure out how to cook for one, since gaining a granddaughter has resulted in my losing a wife.
If John ever figures out how to use his new cellphone, maybe we can see some pics. I understand he gave it to a kid there who figured out how to take pics , but John can't figure out how to find them. No criticism of John, since Brien couldn't figure it out either......no, wait, he's well over 30 too.
Judy and I enjoyed brunch with Tom and Annie, John and Rosalie. Tim, and Brien at the Ryde hotel in the delta. Nice.

Maddie, mom and Aunt Darcey. Check out the Popeye arms in the pic in her new toy/seat!
I'm still recovering from 2 days solo babysitting.
Hope everyone had a good Easter

I wanted to get back to sewing again, so I just made a Mei Tai (Asian baby carrier) for Isabella. Here she is on our test run....out cold! Very comfy!

Grandma and Grandpa Roberts, Aunties Darcy and Amy all visited Maddie this week.
Amy took the hat pic. Ain't she cute.
Grandpa Rich

Isabella wanted to test out her new bike seat and helmet this morning. She didn't want to get down once I got her snapped in, so since it is on my bike and my bike is on a trainer, I got a nice little work out this morning. :)
Happy Birthday, Mike!!
We love you! Nicola & Isabella Sofia

One of my favorite pictures. It is so hard to choose "the favorite", but this is one of them. What a spirit! Happy Birthday kiddo.
Love, Dad
Remembering Tosh on his 20th birthday!

Isabella Sofia playing with her Aunt Katie.

And this is the car that Mike has.
Oh, and yes, that is the driveway and ivy outside that you are seeing through the floor of the car. Floor? What floor?
Seriously, though, given that the guy is a daddy and a hubby, works full time, has a 3 hour round trip commute daily, and a fixer upper house, he is making great progress on the car.

Maddie's mom and grandpa 30 yrs ago. Maddie sure looks like her mom to me. Van Cliburn had nothing on me, other than he could play the piano. I think I finally got rid of that sweater last year when we moved. Fun to have these pics.
Got some oldie pics to post, but can't. Will try again tomorrow

We told Isabella is was time to go to her little friend's birthday party, so this is what she got together all on her own (hat included) and pushed to the door, waiting for us. Her attention to detail is incredible. :)

This is the car Mike imagines as he goes out to his garage and looks at the replacement floorboard sitting there, and glances over at the welding torch, then opens the garage door and contemplates taking the car cover off.
One day it will be yours Mike, all it takes is dreams, perseverance, money, and lots and lots of time and labor. But one day ......
OK Mike, it is time for a full frontal photo of the now infamous Cougar, maybe with tires smoking and you with your head out the window grinning, sort of like the charicatures you see painted on car-mon T shirts.
Come on Mike, come on!!!!

Check out this East Coast Oakland fan! Tim, looks like your head is still on west coast.
