We are now in the in between season here in Vermont. This is what it looked like this morning, but now it has warmed up to 36 degrees and much of the snow is gone. Typically it gets up into the thirties for low forties during the day and drops to the mid to low twenties at night, with rain or snow depending on the temperature at the time. It really has the feel of late fall, when brisk walks are nice, but it is even nicer to get back to sit in front of the fire with a good book.

The house is approaching completion and should be finished by mid December, except for the final filling and painting work that Linda and I have to do, which may take us years.

In the mean time, come see us when you get back this way.

We had a happy Thanksgiving. We missed you all who couldn't join us, especially Tom.
Here's Grandma Judy with the mothers of her future granddaughters.

Mads got a funny Tickle-Me Elmo from Gammy and Pops. She worries when he falls over giggling, so she picks him up and gives hugs. She had a really fun Crayon cake from Mema and GG for her second birthday party. Lots of fun! Katie

My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that. If you'd like to contribute, send me a note.
