Charlotte's doing great. We're changing shifts today. Mema and Big Pop leave and Aunt Darcy arrives today. Gammy and Itty bitty Pop will be up next when Gammy is doing better(bronchitis).

And this is a fun picture too. I'm holding my latest running shirt... It says "Half Marathon Ho" on it. I hope that's appropriate to post on our family website.

I know I'm not as cute as Charlotte... but thought I'd post some pics from last Sunday's race. I did the Carlsbad Half Marathon with Team in Training again. It was a wonderful experience again. I wasn't wearing the purple jersey this time (now that i'm a mentor), but I had Uncle Tom's name on a bracelet on my wrist. I thought about him and Tosh while I ran to keep me going. That normal looking person in the red shirt is my friend Gaby. I think I embarrassed her a little. The next half marathon I'd like to do is the La Jolla Half Marathon in April. :) Thanks for your cheers.
thanks for the emails from those who sent them. finn is home from the hospital and doing okay.

Charlotte Mabel Roberts at home. Went to her peditrician today and she's doing well. 5lb 1oz.
Charlotte's home!
Go Amy. She's running the Carlsbad half marathon again tomorrow. We remember that last year she did it as a fundraiser, naming Tosh and Tom as honorees. This year she is a mentor for others doing the same.
Even though we're all focused on a 4 lb. cutiepie up here in Carson Cit y and Reno, we're also sending our love and support to Amy as she runs 13 miles tomorrow.
Speaking of cutiepies, she's got all the tubes, IV's etc out and is breast feeding some, and hopefully will be home with Maddie, mommy, and daddy on Tues or Wed.
Til then, the traveling Maddie'sbabysisterthatshecan'tseeshow continues with Mema, Katie , Jason, and occasionally Pop participating(and GrammyandLittlepop waiting in the wings)
Ain't Maddy cute?
You ain't seen nothin til you see Charlotte!
GO AMY!!!!!!

Charlotte got her feeding tube removed yesterday. She's taking all her feedings from a bottle and is up to 35mls (1 ounce plus 1 tsp) per feeding as of last pm. She's supposed to get up to 39mls. After that, I don't know what the plan is other than continuing to wean her off her IV nutrition. Still don't really know when she'll be coming home, but we're hopeful now that it could be within the next 3-4 days (that's my guess, not any sort of estimate we've been given. Can't wait to get her home finally! We'll keep you all posted for sure.
Katie, Jason, Mads, and Charlotte
Big sister chilling out, waiting for Charlotte to come home.

Charlotte mabel is hanging in there. Her lungs weren't quite ready, so they are giving her oxygen. She is at the neonatal intensive care unit in Reno. I think it's the Reno Regional Medical Center She is otherwise healthy, but will be there for about 2 weeks. Katie was discharged yesterday and is enjoying being reunited with Maddie. She'll be commuting to Reno until Charlotte comes home.
Aunt Colleen and Andy will visit this weekend, and bring my camera cord, so watch out for many pics. Charlotte is truly a miracle baby. We are blessed.

Hello world! I am Charlotte (undecided) Roberts. I was born on January 8, 2008, and my parents Katie and Jason are very proud of me (if tired). I weigh 4 lbs 13 oz and am 17 inches long. That may sound small but you try being born a month early and see how you fare. The doctors are holding me hostage in the hospital for a couple of days and feeding me oxygen to let my lungs develop, but really, I'm fine, and so is mom. We both get to go home pretty soon. Oh, by the way, Maddie is doing fine too. I just met her and gramma and grampa, and they are all pretty cool people.
(All of this is being told to you by my great uncle Tim, since I can't talk yet and grampa can't get to a computer connection.)
Remember When....

How time flies! Just walking down memory lane tonight. Rich posted this great
shot of Kerri in Nov 2004, aptly titled "pissed," with the caption "Life sucks...and I'm only a month into it"
Now she's a 3 year old dynamo who gives her old man timeouts when he misbehaves:)
Can't believe we have 6 little ones now - soon to be 8! More good times ahead for sure.
Happy 2008.

Kate wanted a copy of this and I thought mom might want it too. I took this in mid-October when Maddie (and her posse) visited LA.
